The IEEE Day 2019 celebration at ASU was successfully held on October 1st, 2019. Thank you to all that attended the event and participated in the festivities! The purpose of IEEE Day is to celebrate the first time in history when engineers worldwide and IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884. This year’s theme was “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow”, which also marked the 10th year celebrating this event! Attendants received t-shirts commemorating IEEE Day 2019. The evening consisted of keynote speeches held by our Board Members including Will, Aswin, and Nicole. Afterwards, an ice-breaker/networking activity with prizes followed the presentations. The night concluded with everyone enjoying the dinner provided by IEEE ASU Student Branch. Thank you again to all that made this event a success. We hope to see you all again at future events!
