This past weekend was the annual IEEE Rising Stars Conference and multiple members of the IEEE-ASU section took advantage of the interactive events, technical innovation talks, and networking opportunities to connect with professionals around the world. The final event “Next Big Thing Panel” featured some of the best speakers from the conference, including Brian David Johnson, a futurist and the head of the Threatcasting Lab at ASU; John Butler, a leading constructive capitalism professor who has served as a consultant for both private and government organizations; and even Michael Andrews, a past director of Region 6 of IEEE.
