IEEE Day 🌍🤝
October kicked off with the celebration of IEEE Day, a global event that connects thousands of IEEE members with the shared goal of using technology to shape a brighter tomorrow. It’s a tradition that dates back to 1884, when like-minded engineers first gathered to exchange groundbreaking technical ideas. We’re proud to be part of this global movement. 🤖
Welcoming New Board Members 📣
In a heartwarming pinning ceremony, we officially welcomed our new board members. Each one of them was bestowed with the symbols of IEEE excellence – their official IEEE Student Branch shirts, IEEE Pins, and a framed certification of their new titles. Undergraduate Day 🎃
We didn’t let the Halloween season pass us by without celebrating. Undergraduate Day took us to the ECG Courtyard, where we carved pumpkins and indulged in sweets and treats. From unleashing our inner artists to satisfying our candy cravings, it was a spook-tacular evening. Thanks to all who joined in the fun! 🍬🎃
Volunteering at FMSC 🤝
In collaboration with IEEE-HKN and SASE ASU, our IEEE ASU board members came together for a volunteering event at Feed My Starving Children. This closed event allowed us to make a meaningful impact, combat undernutrition, and nourish both body and spirit. We’re proud to contribute to this noble cause and make a difference. 💪
